So that we can provide you with a shortlist of Interim Manager candidates properly qualified for the role, we place enormous importance on developing a deep understanding of your requirements, not just in relation to the specifics of the role but also in the context of your broader business objectives. We believe we can do this best through a face to face meeting where we can, if it is helpful, take you through the structured process that enables us to identify the dimensions and key deliverables of the role and demonstrate to you how we take that information and use it to select an appropriate short list of candidates. We are happy and indeed prefer to come and talk to you at your business premises; and we don’t expect you to pay us to put ourselves in a position of knowledge and understanding.
During the course of an assignment we like to keep in regular touch with both you and the Interim Manager. This is to ensure that terms of reference are put in place (formally or informally), that they are understood and can be used as a basis for monitoring and reviewing assignment progress and the Interim Manager’s performance. That way, should any issues arise during the course of an assignment, they can be identified quickly and addressed.
