We're always looking for talented Interim Managers who can make a difference

FRP Transition is a well-established, niche interim provider undertaking assignments across senior management and board positions both financial and operational. Most businesses will be in the private sector in the sme or mid-cap market, generally based in the UK.

If you are an experienced interim with several assignments under your belt, we would be delighted to receive your CV and meet in due course to discuss projects. CVs should be provided in Word format.

In the majority of cases our assignments are referred to us by contacts of FRP Advisory LLP, our parent company. These will usually be from banks, PE/VC funds, ABL or commercial finance and more recently, alternative finance platforms. The businesses are often in a stressed or distressed state and will require skills to stabilize, provide a strategy for change and implementation. This can be in either a financial or operational role. As the landscape in which we operate continues to evolve, we envisage an increased work load will be referred for growth, MBO and M&A activity including integration, roll out delivery, systems and reporting upgrades.

How does an assignment with FRP Transition work?

We aim to offer the client 3 CVs and encourage them to meet at least two interims before progressing.

Once there is a general confirmation between the parties and before commencing any project FRP Transition will expect the interim to provide information for regulatory purposes these will include:

  • Photo identification ( eg passport or driving licence)and confirmation of address
  • The company’s certificate of incorporation
  • The company’s VAT registration
  • The schedule of insurance in respect of your Professional Indemnity cover. We recommend that you take out a cover of at least £1M per assignment

We will also expect an interim to provide referees that either we or the client can contact with regards to recent assignments and as our referrers are often financial or professional service related it is useful if one of those referees can come from a similar background.
